The 4 members of After Ian - Wone K. Yip, Howard Figg, Dave Fast and Dean Scovell - play the music that has dominated their lives. Great music played as it should be heard!

After Ian performs club dates, corporate events and private parties in the Calgary area. Anywhere, in fact, where the audience enjoys rock n roll balanced with excellent nostalgia and some of the best tunes of the past 40 years, all combined with a fun and loose atmosphere. Dance, wiggle in your seat, or just sit back and listen to the songs, you're bound to like it!

Wone K. Yip - Lead Vocals, Drums

Howard Figg - Lead Guitar

Howard is After Ian’s long-standing lead guitarist and has played with these guys for over 25 years. He also includes a number of popular local bands on his resume, 20/20, Mardi Gras, Dos Boot, SomeYoungGuys, and Radiation.

Howard once did a gig on Beale St. in Vancouver with a live feed of the band displayed on the wall of BC Place.

Dave Fast - Bass

Bassist Dave “Think Positive” Fast is one of our most seasoned and well traveled player. He lists a bunch of bands on his resume: After Ian, Livestock, Rosette Guitar Ensemble, Susan Graham, Silver Lake Band, Pillar, Black Cat Bone, Rockin Robin & the Jaybirds, and Glider. All of which occurred somewhere between Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary over the past 30 years.

Dean Scovell - Keyboards, Vocals

He claims endless bar gigs, jams and one-nighters but recalls no details, plus an earlier version of After Ian: Radiation, or Radaton. He once filled-in with Hot Cargo for a couple gigs in early 2007. Filled-in for Brock Gillis a couple of times. OK, if high school counts, then include Laste Effert (such a nice name).

Once played a gig at 7AM in February, outside, on the steps of Calgary City Hall. It was the Winter Olympics in 1988. Yeah, that was just great.
